Summary of Position:

Provide technical support and perform detailed analysis of Health and Usage Monitoring System (HUMS) data to enhance the reliability, availability, and maintainability of the in-service helicopter fleet. The role is focused on executing HUMS and diagnostic analyses, responding to customer technical requests, and supporting ongoing HUMS performance monitoring under the guidance of senior engineers.

The engineer collaborates closely with cross-functional internal teams and external customers to ensure timely, accurate technical assessments while meeting contractual service levels and key performance indicators (KPIs) in a fast-paced operational environment. This position requires direct customer interaction, including clear communication of technical findings, recommendations, and limitations, as well as effective management of customer expectations.

The role operates within a continuous support model and requires availability during standard business hours, five days per week, including participation in a rotating schedule that covers weekends and holidays to ensure uninterrupted fleet support.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Perform routine HUMS and diagnostic analyses to support customer requests and contractual KPIs, with supervision

2. Support data review, report preparation, and troubleshooting activities. Document findings and follow established analysis procedures

3. Collaborate with Inter Department (SE) in Special Event Analysis and Project Improvements, with supervision.

4. Stay acquainted of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in HUMS and predictive maintenance, and incorporate relevant advancements into our solutions

5. Performance monitoring of HUMS system, and analyzing data to identify opportunities for improvement, and preparing regular reports for management on the status of HUMS implementation, maintenance activities, and performance metrics, with supervision.

6. Perform other duties and fulfill other responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications for Position:

A. Education

Bachelor Degree in Engineering (Aeronautics/Mechanics/ Electronics/Communication/Data analytics).

Advanced degree, specialized relevant courses or equivalent experience would be preferred.


B. Experience

0-2 years of experience in Health and Usage Monitoring Systems, vibrational analysis or similar predictive maintenance solutions.

Internship or academic exposure to aerospace systems preferred.

Prior Aerospace experience in similar environment is considered a plus.


C. Competencies & Attributes

  • Basic Knowledge of sensor technologies, signal processing techniques, and predictive analytics methodologies.
  • Fundamental understanding of HUMS concepts and sensor technologies.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a demonstrated ability to translate complex technical concepts into practical solutions.
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Pro-activity and ability to work under high demanding/stressing environments and comfortable in the dynamic atmosphere of a product organization rapidly expanding.
