Medina’s ACE Auto is looking for an experienced technician ready for the next phase of their career.

This position is ideal for a strong diagnostic technician who still enjoys solving problems and helping customers, but may be looking to step back from physically demanding full-production flat-rate work.

We are looking for someone who can help lead workflow, assist with diagnostics, support technicians, and help bridge the gap between the shop and the front counter.

This Is NOT Just Another Technician Position

This role may include:

• advanced diagnostics
• helping technicians with difficult problems
• communicating with customers and advisors
• assisting with workflow and repair prioritization
• reviewing inspections and estimates
• quality control oversight
• mentoring younger technicians
• occasional hands-on repair work when needed

This is a leadership-style position within a growing independent repair shop.

Ideal Candidate

• Experienced diagnostic technician
• Former foreman or shop lead
• Technician interested in transitioning into advising or leadership
• Someone looking for a more balanced long-term role in the automotive industry
• Strong communicator with both customers and technicians
