Knowledge to inspect, diagnose, and repair diesel-powered vehicles like trucks, forklifts and trailers. Their main duties include running diagnostic tests on vehicles, replacing the vehicles’ engine, transmission, steering mechanism or braking system and test driving the vehicle to determine if they properly fixed the maintenance issue.. Primary duties include running diagnostic tests, replacing worn or broken parts (engines, transmissions, and brakes), and performing routine preventative maintenance to ensure vehicles operate safely and efficiently.

Maintenance & Repair

• Diagnostics: Run computer diagnostic tests to identify faults in electrical, fuel, hydraulic, and emission systems.
• Component Overhaul: Dismantle, repair, and replace defective parts like engine assemblies, transmissions, steering mechanisms, and braking systems.
• Preventative Maintenance: Perform routine servicing, including fluid changes (oil, coolant), filter replacements, tire rotations, and chassis greasing.
• Testing: Test drive repaired vehicles and heavy machinery to verify that repairs were successful and performance meets safety regulations.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Diploma or equivalent is required
• An associate degree in diesel technology or completion of a traineeship is required
• At least 5 years of experience as a diesel mechanic is required.

Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED3,000.00 per month
