Diesel Lube Tech / Level 2 Technician

Location: Kingman, AZ
Pay: $20–$28/hour (Based on Experience)
Full-Time | Monday–Friday | Steady Hours

We are a locally owned waste management company operating a fleet of 40+ semi trucks and refuse trucks. We are looking for a motivated Lube Technician / Level 2 Diesel Technician who wants steady work, long-term growth, and the opportunity to advance into a Senior Diesel Technician role.

Position Overview

This role is responsible for preventive maintenance, inspections, and light-to-moderate diesel repairs on semi trucks and refuse equipment. You will work alongside experienced senior mechanics and have a clear path to advancement.

This is NOT a flat-rate dealership job. We offer consistent hours, team support, and long-term opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Perform PM services (oil changes, filters, fluid checks)
• Complete DOT inspections
• Brake jobs and suspension work
• Diagnose basic electrical and engine issues
• Assist with engine, transmission, and hydraulic repairs
• Maintain accurate service documentation
• Keep work area clean and safe
• Follow all shop safety procedures

Qualifications

• 1–4 years diesel mechanic experience preferred
• Basic knowledge of semi trucks and heavy equipment
• Ability to perform brake and PM services independently
• Own basic hand tools
• Valid driver’s license (CDL is a plus but not required)
• Strong work ethic and reliability

ASE certifications are a plus — we help pay for certifications.
