Diesel Mechanic

Qualifications and Skills:

• Effective communication skills. (verbal and written)
• Effective planning and time management skills.
• Problem solving.
• Good knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations.
• Computerized diagnostic experience is a plus.
• Must be capable of driving forward and backing up in close spaces at low speeds.
• CDL is a plus.

• Union pay scale. (currently $32.46 / hour)
• $.20 / hour wage increase per qualifying ASE certification. (Diesel Engine, Drivetrain, Brakes, Suspension and Steering, Electrical, Heating Ventalation and AC, Preventative Maintenance and Inspections)
