Diesel Mechanic

DIESEL MECHANIC

American Fence Company is seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our team of industry professionals. This position requires weekday travel with overnight stays approximately one week per month. The candidate must provide their own tools adequate to perform job functions and have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing diesel and gas engines in light duty pickups to Class 8 trucks
• Willing to travel regularly
• Proficiently repairs hydraulic and air brakes, fuel systems, etc.
• Competently performs in-frame repairs and overhaul rebuilds
• Must provide own tools
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record required

Compensation & Benefits

• $32 - $37 per hour
