Diesel Mechanic

Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Diesel Mechanic to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of heavy-duty diesel equipment, tractor-trailers, and diesel vehicles.

Duties

• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues on diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, suspension systems, and electrical components
• Perform repairs and maintenance on heavy equipment such as excavators, dozers, forklifts, farm machinery, and industrial equipment
• Conduct fabrication tasks including welding, soldering, and assembly of parts required for repair
• Service and repair heavy equipment, tractor-trailers, and vehicle systems
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, diagnostic software, and specialized equipment to complete repairs efficiently
• Follow safety protocols during heavy lifting operations and equipment handling to prevent accidents
• Maintain detailed service records and documentation of all repairs performed for compliance and future reference

Skills

• Extensive mechanic experience working with heavy-duty diesel engines and equipment
• Proficient in operating heavy machinery including excavators, dozers, forklifts, and tractor-trailers
• Ability to perform tire service, brake repair, assembly work, and general vehicle maintenance with precision

Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour
