Diesel Mechanic

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in automotive diagnostics, electrical systems, and customer service, with experience in heavy equipment operation in depth knowledge of both diesel and gasoline engines. The ideal candidate should have a grasp of Thermo King units and a strong dedication to keeping our fleet of over 40+ vehicles running smoothly.

Duties:

- Perform maintenance and repairs on various vehicles and equipment
- Conduct automotive diagnostics to identify issues
- Repair and replace faulty parts as needed
- Operate heavy equipment for maintenance tasks
- Provide tire service as required
- Transmit information using schematics for electrical systems
- Deliver exceptional customer service during interactions

-Address driver issues with trucks using inspection reports.

-Identify and troubleshoot mechanical problems.

-Carry out inspections and preventive maintenance tasks. Routine Oil and Filter Changes.

-Service and repair Thermo King units

-Document all maintenance and repair activities using our paperless system.

-Ensure completion of all tasks, while following company safety protocols.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a Mechanic or similar role
- Proficiency in HVAC systems and Caterpillar equipment is a plus
- Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics and repair procedures
- Ability to interpret schematics for electrical systems
- Excellent customer service skills to interact with clients effectively

- Understanding of Thermo King refrigeration units

-Capable of working as part of a team, with excellent time management skills

-Possession of certifications is advantageous.

-Must hold a Nevada driver’s license.

Shift- Tuesday -Saturday

Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year

Experience:

• Mechanical knowledge: 3 years (Preferred)
• Diesel engine repair: 3 years (Preferred)
