Diesel Mechanic

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing diesel engines and hydraulic systems, ensuring they operate efficiently and safely.

Responsibilities:

- Diagnose and repair diesel engines, including electrical and mechanical systems
- Perform routine maintenance on diesel engines and vehicles
- Conduct inspections to identify faulty components and recommend solutions
- Operate heavy equipment for diagnostic purposes
- Fabricate parts as needed for repairs
- Handle heavy lifting when necessary
- Service tires and perform equipment repairs
- Utilize hydraulic systems for maintenance tasks
- Use diagnostics tools

Experience:

- Prior experience in diesel engine repair and maintenance
- Proficiency in hydraulics and mechanical knowledge
- Ability to operate heavy equipment / forklift
- Skilled in automotive diagnostics and service
- Experience with fabricating parts for repairs

Requirements:

- Strong mechanical knowledge of diesel engines & hydraulics
- Ability to handle heavy lifting as part of the job requirements

Nice-to-Have Skills:

- Experience in heavy equipment operation
- Familiarity with hydraulics systems
