Job Title: Diesel Mechanic

Position Summary:
The Diesel Mechanic is responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel trucks, trailers, and equipment to ensure safe and reliable operation.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance on diesel trucks and equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
• Complete oil changes, brake repairs, tire replacements, and preventative maintenance.
• Inspect vehicles and identify needed repairs.
• Maintain accurate service and repair records.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
• Keep the work area clean and organized.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Basic knowledge of diesel engines and truck maintenance.
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a shop environment.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.
• Previous diesel mechanic experience is preferred but not required.

Work Schedule:

• Full-time position.
• Overtime may be required as needed.

Pay: Based on experience.

Pay: $18.00 - $26.00 per hour

• Mechanical knowledge: 1 year (Preferred)
