Diesel Mechanic Assistant

Gunite Pros is looking for a motivated Diesel Mechanic Assistant to help keep our fleet of gunite trucks, compressors, and equipment running at peak performance.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with maintenance and repair of diesel trucks and heavy equipment
• Troubleshoot and repair PTO (Power Take-Off) systems
• Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and service work
• Assist with diagnosing hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical issues
• Help maintain and repair Doosan air compressors
• Keep service records and maintain a clean work area
• Travel to job sites when needed for field repairs

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working around diesel engines and heavy equipment
• Knowledge of PTO systems (strongly preferred)
• Familiarity with Doosan compressors (strongly preferred)
• Basic understanding of hydraulics, electrical systems, and air systems
• Ability to use hand tools, diagnostic tools, and shop equipment
• Valid driver's license
• CDL is a plus but not required
