We are looking for an experienced Diesel Truck Mechanic with a strong background in computer and electrical diagnostics and AC system repairs. Responsibilities

• Electrical Diagnostics & Repair:

Perform in-depth electrical diagnostics for all vehicle systems, including advanced troubleshooting and repairs.

Work on complex electrical components in diesel and gasoline trucks, including wiring, control modules, and sensor repairs.

• AC Diagnostics & Repair:

Diagnose and repair vehicle air conditioning including troubleshooting and problem solving, ensuring comfort for all drivers and passengers.

• Complete Vehicle Maintenance:

Conduct routine service and maintenance on light, medium, and heavy-duty diesel and gasoline trucks.

Troubleshoot and repair automatic transmissions, ABS systems, air/hydraulic brakes, and hydraulic systems.

• Trailer & Specialty Repairs:

Work on trailer repairs (excluding major bodywork), reefer/refrigeration units, and school bus repairs.

• Safety Compliance & Team Collaboration:

Ensure all repairs and diagnostics comply with safety regulations.

Maintain a clean, organized work environment.

Collaborate with team members to ensure vehicles are repaired and maintained efficiently.

• Welding, fabrication, and hydraulic hose fabrication a plus!

Required Skills & Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years proven experience as a diesel truck mechanic, specializing in both diesel and gasoline engines.
• Strong electrical diagnostic skills, with experience in troubleshooting and repairing electrical systems in commercial vehicles.
• Proficient in vehicle air conditioning system repairs.
• Solid understanding of mechanical systems, hydraulic systems, and brake systems, both air and hydraulic.
• Experience using diagnostic tools (computer-based and manual) for engine, transmission, and electrical troubleshooting.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a close-knit team.
• Own a full set of tools
• Possess a medical certificate ID card.
• Class A CDL strongly preferred.
• ASE certifications (preferred but not required).
• Experience with RV, motorhome, or school bus repairs is a plus.
