Diesel Mechanic Service Technician

Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Diesel Mechanic Service Technician to join our dynamic maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of heavy-duty diesel equipment, including trucks, industrial machinery, and farm equipment. Your expertise will ensure optimal performance, safety, and reliability of our fleet and machinery. Responsibilities

• Perform detailed diagnostics using schematics, automotive diagnostics tools, and mechanical knowledge to identify issues with diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, suspension systems, air brakes, and HVAC systems.
• Conduct repairs and maintenance on heavy equipment such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, tractors, trailers, and other industrial or farm machinery.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, soldering techniques, and fabrication skills to execute repairs efficiently.
• Complete inspections of vehicle systems, including tire service, shocks & struts, wheel alignment, brake repair, and assembly of mechanical components.
• Maintain accurate records of all service work performed; interpret schematics and technical manuals to ensure precise repairs.
• Perform preventive maintenance to extend equipment lifespan and reduce downtime.
• Assist in heavy lifting operations safely using appropriate equipment while adhering to safety protocols.

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
