Diesel Mechanic / trailer mechanic

To be considered for this position, you must be able to fully diagnose and repair, as well as work independently on brakes, wheel seals, electrical issues, and AC problems.

Diagnose all types of breakdown issues. The following duties are as follows:

Diagnose and repair medium to heavy-duty trucks and trailers including Preventative maintenance

Roadside Diagnosis and Repair

Inspections

Trailer Box Repairs

Cooling systems

Repair air and hydraulic brakes

Tires

Warranty procedures

Driveline repairs

Steering and suspension

Electrical repairs

Mobile AC diagnoses and repairs

Computer skills

Trailer repairs.

DPF systems

Electrical diagnosing

Pay is based on experience and tools

Filling out work orders and turning them in in a timely manner. The shop is located in Houston TX. Thank you.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
