Diesel Mechanic/ Shop Foreman

Day shift, and on call

Applicants must have mechanical knowledge of class 8 trucks and trailers, have own tools, a valid driver’s license (CDL Class A is a plus), perform troubleshooting and repairs. Ensure quality control of all semi-truck and trailer equipment owned and leased, as well as other company owned vehicles. Light welding and torching, perform services on equipment (oil/lube/etc) as needed and change tires as needed. Be able to prioritize work load based on dispatch schedule. Capabilities include dependable transportation, be on time for shift, stand on feet for long periods of time, able to bend, twist, push, pull and lift 50+ pounds.

Order and keep parts room stocked as necessary. Review work orders for correctness. Ensure all equipment is maintained on schedule.

Must be able manage other shop employees.
