Diesel Pick-up Driver

1. Driving Skills

• Valid UAE Light Vehicle Driving License
• Must have vehicle driving permit for diesel tanker
• Strong control of manual and automatic pickup vehicles
• Safe driving in city, highway, and construction site environments
• Good knowledge of UAE traffic regulations (RTA rules)
• Valid driving permit for diesel tanker (preferred)

2. Fuel Handling Knowledge

• Safe loading and unloading of diesel fuel
• Understanding of fuel safety procedures
• Ability to prevent fuel spillage and fire hazards
• Proper hose connection and disconnection practices

3. Basic Mechanical Knowledge

• Daily vehicle inspection
• Check engine oil, coolant, and brake fluid levels
• Monitor tyre pressure
• Identify and report minor mechanical issues

4. Documentation Skills

• Handle delivery notes accurately
• Maintain fuel logbook records
• Verify invoices and delivery documents
• Basic English reading and writing skills preferred

5. Safety Awareness

• Knowledge of fire extinguisher usage
• Emergency response understanding
• Proper use of PPE (helmet, gloves, safety shoes)
• Defensive driving practices

6. Personal Skills

• Strong time management skills
• Good communication ability
• Responsible, honest, and reliable
• Physically fit (able to handle fuel hoses safely)
