Qualifications (2+ Years Experience Preferred):

  • Perform preventive maintenance, basic diagnostics, and repairs on diesel engines, brakes, and electrical systems

What We Look For:

  • Ability to diagnose common issues efficiently
  • Consistent, high-quality work with minimal comebacks
  • Motivation to grow skills and advance within the trade
  • Familiar with DPF/DEF systems and aftertreatment components
  • Experience with diagnostic tools/software (e.g., Cummins INSITE, DiagnosticLink)
  • Ability to read schematics and complete work orders accurately
  • ASE certifications (T2–T8) and/or OEM training not required but is preferred
  • Able to work independently on routine jobs with minimal supervision
  • Strong troubleshooting, time management, and communication skills
  • Must have your own basic tools and be able to lift 50–75 lbs

Working Conditions

  • Exposure to considerable amounts of dust, diesel fumes and noise
  • May be required to drive service vehicle from off-site locations to company shop and perform work
  • Exposure to climate conditions of the geographic area (e.g., summer heat and winter cold)
  • Exposure to chemicals, oils, greases, paints or other irritants.
