Position Summary

We’re hiring an experienced Diesel Technician / Mechanic to diagnose and repair medium- and heavy-duty trucks. This position requires strong technical skills in both mechanical and electrical systems, and the ability to handle after-hours service calls using a company service truck.

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate diagnostics on diesel engines, electrical systems, transmissions, hydraulics, and air brakes.
• Use OEM software, scan tools, and diagnostic equipment to identify and repair issues efficiently.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and routine inspections on trucks and equipment.
• Respond to after-hours service calls during assigned shifts.
• Maintain detailed service records and follow all company and safety standards.
• Collaborate with team members to deliver exceptional service and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience working on medium- and heavy-duty trucks.
• 5+ years of electrical diagnostic experience using OEM software and scan tools.
• Strong understanding of diesel systems, mechanical repair, and diagnostic tools.
• Certifications are a plus, but hands-on experience and skill matter most.
• Must be willing to work an after-hours service truck shift.

Pay: $24.00 - $32.00 per hour
