We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team at All Valley Waste LLC. In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of our diesel vehicles and heavy equipment, playing a crucial part in keeping our operations running smoothly. This position is vital to our commitment to excellence in waste management.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and heavy equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical issues using appropriate diagnostic tools and techniques.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations while performing mechanical work.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts used, and maintenance schedules.
• Collaborate with team members to improve operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic or similar role in the automotive industry.
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines, heavy equipment operation, and repair techniques.
• Ability to use diagnostic tools effectively to troubleshoot mechanical issues.
• Familiarity with Caterpillar machinery is a plus but not required.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
