We are currently seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented DIETARY AIDE to join our team. Job Summary:

The DIETARY AIDE plays a vital role in assisting with the preparation and delivery of the daily meals for our residents -and- the washing of all dishes and kitchen cleanup. You will work closely with the dietary team to ensure the health, safety, and satisfaction of our residents with regards to their dietary needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in food preparation and meal service, ensuring proper presentation and portion control.
  • Deliver meals to residents in a timely and friendly manner.
  • Follow dietary restrictions and specific meal plans for individual residents.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, dining areas, and food storage.
  • Complete the dishwashing, utensil organization, and cleaning up after meals.
  • Monitor food temperatures and ensure that safety standards are met.
  • Assist with setting up meal trays and preparing snacks for residents as needed.
  • Work with the dietary team to ensure residents' dietary preferences are met.
  • Adhere to all facility policies and health codes.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any concerns or requests from residents or staff.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Prior experience in food service or dietary aide role preferred, but not required.
  • Must be able to follow directions and work as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with residents and staff.
  • Must be able to lift and carry food trays and supplies.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of service and cleanliness.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
