Dietary Aide PT 2nd Shift

If you need childcare and there are openings available, Tender Times Child Development Center, our facility will reimburse 50% of the bill.

• Dietary aide wages begin at $12 and go up with experience but is determined by the hiring manager*

Dietary Aide Job Duties:

• Reviewing menus prior to preparation of food.
• Inspecting special diet trays to assure they are correct.
• Performing administrative requirements such as completing necessary forms, reports, etc., and submitting to the Director of Food Services.
• Coordinating dietary service with other departments as necessary.
• Working with the facility's Dietician, Dietetic Technician and other Supervisors as necessary and implementing recommended changes as required.
• Assuring that all dietary procedures are followed in accordance with established policies.
• Assisting in establishing food service production line, etc., to assure that meals are prepared on time.
• Processing diet changes and new diets as received from Nursing Services and approved by the Director of Food Service.
• Performing dishwashing/cleaning procedures. Assuring that utensils, etc., are readily available for next meal.
• Assisting in inventorying and storing in-coming food, supplies, etc., as necessary.
