Dietary Aide/Server

Join our dedicated dietary team as a Dietary Aide where your passion for food and commitment to exceptional service will make a meaningful difference in the lives of residents. In this vital role, you will assist with preparing nutritious meals, assist with food service operations, and ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming dining environment. You will serve our residents in their dining room. Your energy will contribute to creating a positive experience for residents in assisted living.

Duties

• Assist with food handling, serving, and portioning to support efficient meal service.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen areas, including cleaning dishes, utensils, and food preparation surfaces in compliance with food safety standards.
• Support the dietary department by taking orders, delivering food, bussing tables, cleaning dining areas, and managing waste disposal to uphold sanitation protocols.
• Follow proper food safety procedures during food preparation and handling to prevent contamination and ensure compliance with health regulations.
• Assist with inventory management by stocking supplies and notifying supervisors of low stock levels.
• Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent customer service and create a warm, welcoming dining atmosphere for residents.

Skills

• Previous experience in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, hospitals, or the food industry is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with dietary department operations and food handling safety protocols.
• Excellent time management skills to efficiently prepare meals within scheduled times.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Knowledge of sanitation standards, cleaning procedures, and kitchen safety practices.
• Customer service orientation with a friendly attitude toward residents and team members.
