Dietary Cook - Part Time

JOB SUMMARY

The Dietary Cook is a key part of our facility. Some of the job responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

  • Ensure that all food procedures are followed in accordance with established policies.
  • Assist in assembly of meal trays utilizing the planned menus of physicians’ diet orders.
  • Deliver meals and nourishments to designated facility locations.
  • Assist in the preparation of food items, as directed.
  • Ensure excellent communication among staff, residents, and families.
  • Respect others by treating them the way we want to be treated.
  • Demonstrate kindness, compassion, honesty, and integrity at all times.
  • Help create a culture of superior customer service.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous experience in food service preferred
  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Successful criminal background check
  • Long-term care facility experience preferred
