Dietary Server/Universal Worker - FT Royalton Reserve Assisted Living in North Royalton

Job Overview
Royalton Reserve Assisted Living is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dietary Server/Universal Server to join our team. It is a full time position and the hours are 11am-7pm. This role is essential in providing residents with nutritious, well-presented meals in a warm and welcoming environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in food service, dietary assistance, or related fields, with a strong focus on customer service and food safety. Responsibilities

• Serve meals to residents in accordance with dietary guidelines and individual preferences
• Assist with food preparation and plating under the supervision of culinary staff
• Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and cleanliness standards are maintained throughout the shift
• Buss tables, clean dining areas, and ensure all serving utensils are sanitized after use
• Support meal setup and breakdown, including organizing trays and condiments
• Provide friendly and attentive customer service to residents during mealtimes
• Follow all safety protocols related to food handling and sanitation regulations
• Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed
• Minor housekeeping and cleaning
• Assist in other areas of the facility as needed

Requirements

• Previous experience in assisted living, nursing homes, hospitals, or the food industry is preferred
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
• Strong time management skills to efficiently serve residents during scheduled meal times
• Experience with food preparation, serving, bussing, and kitchen sanitation practices
• Excellent customer service skills with a compassionate approach to resident care
• Ability to work evenings as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Culinary or dietary aide experience is a plus but not required
• Must be able to follow detailed instructions and adhere to health and safety regulations
