Dietitian Nutritionist

I am a family physician with a medically supervised weight loss program and am looking to bring on a dietitian/nutritionist to help manage the diet portion of the program. Our program offers an initial 3 month plan with two different tiers of service. All clients undergo an initial intake with our medical providers, which includes a review of medical history and blood work. The medical provider will determine if weight loss medication is appropriate.

The dietitian will be responsible for getting a comprehensive history of eating habits, weight struggles, previous diets, successes and failures. The dietitian will then individually tailor a diet plan for each client. Clients will have a minimum of monthly visits with the dietitian for the lower tier, up to weekly visists for the higher tier to review progress, provide feedback and offer guidance. The position is expected to be 10-15 hours per week and could lead to full-time employment as the program grows. It will involve a combination of in-office appointments and remote telemedicine appointments.

The dieitian will also attend weekly marketing and networking meetings to promote the program. The dietitian will play an integral role in the implementation of our weight loss program.

Direct primary care is designed to improve quality of care and keep costs low by cutting out the middleman. The clinic is independently owned and we do not bill insurance which means there are no bureaucratic hassles . We are able to devote all of our attention to taking care of patients.

Pay: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour
