Dig and Drip Irrigation Technician

Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Dig and Drip Irrigation Technician to join our dynamic landscape maintenance team. Duties

• Install new drip and traditional irrigation systems using hand tools and power tools
• Conduct routine inspections of irrigation components to identify leaks, clogs, or malfunctions
• Repair or replace damaged pipes, valves, emitters, and controllers to maintain system efficiency
• Adjust watering schedules based on seasonal needs, weather conditions, and landscape requirements
• Collaborate with landscaping teams to coordinate irrigation setup with lawn care and landscape maintenance activities
• Maintain detailed records of installations, repairs, and system performance for ongoing monitoring

Qualifications

• Demonstrated mechanical knowledge with experience handling hand tools and power tools such as drills, saws, and trenchers
• Familiarity with irrigation systems, including drip irrigation and sprinkler setups
• Knowledge of landscaping practices including lawn care and horticulture principles
• Experience working with excavation equipment like mini excavators or trenchers is preferred
• Strong understanding of landscape maintenance techniques and general construction skills
• Ability to interpret technical diagrams and system layouts accurately
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to troubleshooting irrigation issues
