Position Description
:

Work independently on tags configuration and the development of tags and data layer using Google Tag Manager for Web and Mobile Apps.

Work as an individual contributor and handle pipeline of tagging requests received from various clients as well as support large scale projects.

Develop, design, build, test, and monitor of Web data layer and web tags/pixels.

Work with interactive marketing teams (paid media, social media, organic search engine optimization) for tracking in their areas and merging of their data with web analytics, as needed.

A good understanding of Google ecosystem and can perform tagging across all Google platforms including marketing platforms.

Work with program managers/customer service team for timely implementation of changes in tagging due to site changes.

Tagging schemas and specifications for new sites and new site features.

Quality assurance and debugging of tagging as implemented by developers.

Write tagging specifications/flow for developers for enhanced ecommerce websites/apps.

Implement proper cookie consent triggers to adhere to regulatory standards (GDPR, CCPA).

Write JavaScript to pull data from the DOM, dataLayer, JavaScript variables, and data objects for implementation in Google Tag Manager. Server-side tags implementation is a plus.

Write SQL/Big Queries to verify and report on Google Analytics in the data warehouse.

Access the Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics APIs for automating tasks.

Quality assurance and debugging of tagging as implemented by developers.
Responsibilities
:

Strong knowledge of DHTML (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, DOM).

Hands-on in Looker Studio (Previously Data Studio) is a plus.

Experience architecting, designing, and implementing data within a data layer.

Experience in reporting and data crunching.
-
Experience debugging analytics and other HTTP requests with browser developer tools/extensions.
