1. Role Purpose

The Digital Architect will play a key role in establishing and guiding the Digital Delivery Office (DDO) during its formation and delivery phase. This position ensures that all digital and AI-driven initiatives adhere to the enterprise’s architecture, security, and data governance frameworks while maintaining flexibility to adopt emerging digital technologies.

The role is both strategic and hands-on , providing technical leadership, architecture governance, and delivery oversight to ensure every DDO solution is secure, scalable, and future-ready .

2. Key Responsibilities

Architectural Design & Assurance

• Define and document end-to-end solution architectures for DDO programs including AI Factory, Digital Experience Platforms, Future Tech, and Data & Insights .
• Ensure architectural alignment with enterprise, security, and cloud standards (Azure, Oracle Cloud, etc.).
• Act as the Technical Design Authority for assigned projects, reviewing designs to ensure scalability, performance, and compliance.
• Participate in the Architecture Review Board (ARB) and contribute to developing reusable patterns and best practices.

Integration & Interoperability

• Design and oversee integration approaches between DDO and enterprise platforms (e.g. Oracle Fusion, Azure Services, BI, ECM, API Gateways ).
• Define API and data exchange standards aligned with enterprise integration frameworks and security guidelines.
• Ensure cross-domain interoperability and maintain data integrity through approved governance models.

Future Tech Enablement

• Enable early adoption of emerging technologies such as AI, automation, and low-code platforms within enterprise controls.
• Envisage and anticipate future technology trends to ensure architecture adaptability.
• Ensure Fit by validating that all DDO architectures are scalable, sustainable, and future-ready.

Delivery & Implementation Support

• Work closely with project managers, business analysts, and development teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Provide ongoing guidance through design reviews, technical clarifications, and architecture assurance checkpoints.
• Maintain detailed architecture documentation , solution diagrams, and design decision logs.

3. Deliverables

• Approved solution architecture documents for all DDO initiatives.
• Updated DDO architecture blueprint aligned with enterprise architecture.
• Integration and data flow diagrams for major systems and services.
• Future-tech readiness assessments for strategic initiatives.
• Architecture Review Board (ARB) reports and sign-off artefacts.

4. Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• 10+ years of progressive experience in Solution or Enterprise Architecture roles.
• Proven hands-on experience with Azure and/or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure , API Management, Microservices, and System Integration.
• Solid knowledge of data platforms, automation tools, and AI/ML environments .
• Ability to balance innovation, compliance, performance, and cost within digital programs.
• Preferred certifications: TOGAF, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Oracle Cloud Architect, or equivalent .
