Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons on digital art tools, software, and techniques, tailored to diverse skill levels
• Develop curriculum content that incorporates current trends in digital art, including illustration, concept art, animation, and graphic design
• Provide constructive feedback to students to enhance their technical skills and artistic development
• Facilitate hands-on projects that encourage creativity, experimentation, and critical thinking
• Maintain a positive classroom atmosphere that motivates students to explore their artistic interests
• Assess student progress regularly and adapt teaching strategies accordingly
• Collaborate with colleagues to improve program offerings and integrate new digital art technologies

Requirements

• Proven experience in digital art creation using industry-standard software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar tools
• Strong portfolio demonstrating proficiency in digital illustration, animation, or related fields
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and effectively
• Prior experience teaching or mentoring students in an educational setting is highly desirable
• Ability to create an inclusive learning environment that supports diverse learners
• University experience is preferred, reflecting familiarity with academic environments and curriculum development
• Passion for nurturing creativity and inspiring students to pursue their artistic goals
• Have experience working with Autistic students

Job Type: Freelance

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
