Kraemer Design Group, LLC (KDG) is seeking a Digital & Brand Coordinator to support the execution and consistency of the firm’s visual brand across digital platforms, graphic communications, and proposal materials. This role is ideal for an early-to-mid-career design professional with strong current digital skills who thrives in a collaborative, design-driven environment. Our innovative Detroit architecture and interior design firm is expanding and needs a creative, resourceful individual. The ideal candidate should be energetic, outgoing, positive, intelligent, flexible, and have excellent communication skills and sense of humor.

KDG’s creative leadership establishes design direction and brand standards. The Digital & Brand Coordinator ensures that direction is applied clearly, consistently, and effectively across websites, social media, proposals, and day-to-day communications.

This is a hands-on, execution-focused role. It does not involve people management or marketing strategy ownership.

This is an In Office, Part-Time or Full-Time position in our downtown Detroit office.

Position requirements:

A willingness to tackle any job, excellent phone etiquette, and the ability to handle sensitive information professionally. Needs to thrive in a dynamic environment with changing priorities, be energetic with a positive attitude. Must be a cooperative team player ready to assist in various areas, participating in office activities and learning programs.

  • Degree or formal training in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Digital Design, or a related field
  • Strong design fundamentals, including typography, layout, and visual hierarchy
  • Proficiency with current design tools (Adobe Creative Suite; familiarity with Figma is a plus)
  • Comfort working across both print and digital formats
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Clear, professional communication skills

Preferred (Not Required):

  • Experience with website CMS platforms (such as WordPress, Webflow, or Squarespace)
  • Exposure to social media content creation or digital campaigns
  • Internship or early professional experience in a design studio, agency, or creative firm
  • Familiarity with proposal or presentation design

We are less focused on years of experience and more interested in strong design fundamentals, current digital skills, and thoughtful execution.

Responsibilities:

This role assists with daily company operations. Main duties include:

Brand & Visual Execution

  • Apply and maintain KDG’s established brand standards across all digital and graphic materials
  • Ensure consistency in typography, layout, imagery, tone, and overall visual quality
  • Maintain and organize brand assets, templates, and reference materials

Graphic, Web, & Digital Support

  • Design and produce graphics for proposals, presentations, and firm communications
  • Support updates to the firm’s website within existing CMS platforms
  • Create branded visual content for social media and digital outreach channels
  • Assist with formatting and layout across multiple platforms and file types

Proposals & RFP Support (Brand-Focused)

  • Coordinate the visual assembly and formatting of RFP and RFQ submissions
  • Ensure brand consistency across resumes, project sheets, graphics, and layouts
  • Work with principals and project teams to integrate content smoothly and accurately
  • Maintain and refine proposal templates and boilerplate materials

Collaboration

  • Work closely with architects, interior designers, and firm leadership
  • Translate creative direction into polished, professional visual deliverables
  • Balance multiple requests while meeting deadlines and maintaining quality
