Position Overview
The Digital Organizer will lead the campaign’s online presence, content production, and digital engagement strategy. This role focuses on creating compelling content, coordinating messaging, managing social media platforms, building online supporter communities, and supporting digital program operations across all channels. The ideal candidate is creative, organized, politically savvy, and able to translate campaign goals into strong digital action.
Key Responsibilities
Content Creation & Social Media Management
Develop and maintain a 30-day digital content calendar outlining posting schedules, themes, and messaging priorities.
Create engaging graphics, videos, captions, and storytelling assets
Post 3–4 times per week across all platforms, ensuring consistent branding and campaign messaging.
Participate in monthly content shoots to gather high-quality photo and video assets.
Manage digital rapid response, including real-time updates during press events, community events, and campaign travels.
Messaging & Coordination
Community Engagement & Digital Organizing
Build relationships with supporters, community leaders, organizations, and influencers online.
Support outreach efforts for targeted groups
Manage and optimize campaign automated communication tools, including ManyChat API links or other chatbot/automation systems.
Track platform analytics, engagement rates, reach, and trends, providing weekly reports and improvement strategies.
Identify digital opportunities to grow the campaign’s supporter base and volunteer pipeline.
Provide digital coverage for press events, podcast appearances, community gatherings, and other major milestones.
Maintain campaign website and content.
Qualifications
Experience in digital organizing, social media management, or political communications.
Strong copywriting, storytelling, and graphic/video content creation skills.
Familiarity with current political issues, campaign strategy, and online organizing trends.
Ability to work in fast-paced political environments and meet tight deadlines.
Proficiency with social media tools, scheduling platforms, and basic editing software.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Preferred Experience
Experience with digital campaigns for political candidates or advocacy organizations.
Familiarity with paid ads, influencer outreach, and online micro-targeting.
Experience using ManyChat, Action Network, Mobilize, or similar tools.
Pay: $5,000.00 - $6,000.00 per month
