Digital Community Manager Intern

DIGITAL COMMUNITY MANAGER INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITY

HARRISBURG, PA – BASED

Triad Strategies, LLC is currently accepting resumes for a Spring 2026 intern. The role of the intern would be to work as the firm’s Digital Community Manager.

The Digital Community Manager will:

· Draft compelling and politically aware copy for various social media platforms such as Twitter/X, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn)

· Design basic-graphics, short videos, and visuals using tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suites to accompany posts.

· Compile timely and relevant news articles, legislative updates, and policy reports for client-facing social media channels.

· Manage and maintain social media calendars for Triad and some clients. Platforms such as Hubspot, Hootsuite, and Sprout may be used for scheduling.

· Monitor social media channels for mentions, trending topics, legislative conversations, and potential reputational risks.

· Assist in community management by engaging with followers and responding to comments and direct messages in a professional and timely manner.

· Track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as engagement, impressions, follower growth on managed platforms.

· Assist in compiling reporting on social media performance for competitive analysis.

· Contribute creative ideas for social media campaigns that align with the firm’s and clients’ goals.

· Keep a pulse on current social media platform updates, emerging trends and best practices.

Applicants should be enrolled in an undergraduate- or graduate-degree program with an emphasis on technology, online platform engagement, SEO, and multiple social media tools, graphics design and work with some photography and videography. Understanding of communications, public affairs, and customer relationship management styles would also be helpful to the selected candidate.

Recent graduates (1-2 years post) will also be considered for the position as there is potential for the internship to transition into an offer for full-time employment.

Applicants should also be detail oriented, be a strong writer, a self-starter and able to manage multiple projects at once.

This is a paid position which will allow the intern to work side-by-side with professionals working in areas of education, healthcare, technology, advocacy, policy planning, strategic campaigns and community outreach.
