Digital Content & Media Specialist

JOB SUMMARY

The Digital Content & Media Specialist will serve as the primary creator for the bank’s social media content and website updates. They will be tasked with enhancing and elevating the brand presence online. The Digital Content & Media Specialist will utilize modern tools, such as generative AI, to produce content that is authentic, informative, and aligns with the Vantage Bank brand.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

The duties listed below may not include all responsibilities that the person in this role may be asked to perform. Incumbent may be required to perform other related duties as assigned.

  • Ensures the bank’s digital presence remains welcoming, accurate, and up to date by updating our CMS, optimizing pages for SEO and clarity, and working with subject matter experts to ensure educational content and product updates are easy to find and understand.

  • Maintains the bank’s website content, ensuring all information remains accurate and is updated in a timely manner.

  • Creates and publishes engaging posts, videos, and graphics that reinforce the bank’s brand.

  • Serves as the voice of the bank across LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, X, and YouTube.

  • Ensure the consistent application of brand standards across all digital aspects.

  • Monitors audience interactions across social media platforms and adjust accordingly, ensuring customers feel acknowledged and valued.

  • Develops digital marketing campaigns via compelling and creative storytelling.

  • Conducts research on industry-related topics to ensure accuracy and relevance in all aspects of the bank’s digital brand.

  • Produces multimedia assets such as photos, short videos, and graphics using AI-assisted workflows.

  • Will track performance metrics and generate reports to ensure the bank’s vision and message is accurate and adjust where needed.

  • Works closely with Marketing team, Compliance, bankers, and other team members to ensure messaging is accurate and compliant.

  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

These specifications are general guidelines based on the minimum experience normally considered essential to the satisfactory performance of this position. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required to perform the position in a satisfactory manner. Individual abilities and organizational limitations may result in some deviation from these guidelines.

  • High School diploma, general education degree (GED), or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree or some college a plus.

  • Prior marketing or content creation experience preferred.

  • Familiarity with social media platforms and digital trends a plus.

  • Basic knowledge of Adobe Create Suite and similar design tools.

  • Understanding of content management systems (CMS) preferred

  • Excellent PC skills, including word processing and spreadsheets via Microsoft Office products, Adobe Pro and other custom applications and systems.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while performing assigned duties.

  • Ability to be flexible and adjust to changing schedules.

  • Excellent analytical, time management, organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to multi-task and work in a deadline-driven environment.

  • Must be self-motivated with strong initiative, high level of accountability, and attention to detail.

  • Ability to always maintain a high degree of ethical standards and complete confidentiality.

BANK SECRECY ACT (BSA)

All employees of Vantage Bank, herein referenced to as the “Bank”, must comply with the terms of the BSA Policy upon acceptance of this position. The primary responsibility for enforcement of this policy and its operating procedures rests with the BSA/AML/OFAC Officer. However, it is the responsibility of each employee to take the required BSA training modules and become familiar with and adhere to the Bank Secrecy Act, Anti Money Laundering and Office of Foreign Asset Control Policy.
