Job Summary
We are seeking a Self Driven and Creative Individual of Digital Content writing, and graphic creating abilities to assist our content initiatives across digital platforms. This role is pivotal in shaping our brand's voice and engaging our audience through factual storytelling and innovative content strategies. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in social media, writing skills, video editing and a keen understanding of digital media trends. Also, the ability to understand a police scanner or the intent to learn quickly.

Duties

• Develop and implement a comprehensive digital content strategy that aligns with organizational goals.
• Oversee the creation, editing, and publication of content across multiple platforms including websites, social media, and newsletters.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistency in messaging and branding.
• Utilize AP style guidelines to maintain professionalism and accuracy in all written materials. ( Will teach)
• Conduct research to inform content creation and ensure relevance to target audiences.
• Monitor industry trends to identify opportunities for innovation.
• Engage with audiences through social media, fostering community interaction and brand loyalty.
• Coordinate video production efforts including scripting, filming, editing, and post-production processes.
• Ensure all content is proofread and copy edited for clarity, accuracy, and adherence to brand standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in digital content creation
• Photography and videography techniques is highly desirable.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
• Excellent research abilities to support fact-checking processes.
• Familiarity with social media platforms and their analytics tools for effective management.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $11.00 - $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 18 – 22 per week
