NatureMed is seeking a creative Digital Content Specialist to develop and deliver content for Southern Arizona’s cannabis connoisseurs. If you are interested and excited to be a pivotal part of NatureMed’s Marketing team, we'd love to hear from you.

Summary

The Digital Content Specialist identifies, creates and delivers engaging and inspiring digital content across a range of digital channels. The Digital Content Specialist ensures NatureMed’s digital presence supports and enhances our business offering; and delivers messages consistent with the NatureMed brand and marketing strategy. The Digital Content Specialist reports to the Director of Marketing and delivers creative assets that align with the marketing direction and supports long-term campaigns and recurring needs. This role requires a dynamic skill set, is a highly-motivated creative team member, talented communicator, and continuous learner, and uses the latest marketing and cannabis industry trends.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

Digital Content Specialist key responsibilities include:

  • Build and maintain a content schedule for content planned to be posted across all platforms.
  • Build and maintain a photography catalog of products for retail and wholesale departments.
  • Coordinate modeling, props and set location for photo and video shoots.
  • Attend events to capture photos and videos. Be on site to engage with attendees at the event booth.
  • Create Ad copy for the dispensary each month.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to ideate and produce photo and video social media content.
  • Manage social media accounts - schedule posts, tactfully answer comments and direct messages.
  • Deliver edited and organized creative assets for marketing collateral.
  • Consistently deliver social media content on schedule.
  • Capture daily short-form content for social media.
  • Execute photography and videography needs for internal and corporate communications.
  • Follow brand guidelines to create intentional content for campaigns and recurring use.
  • Write compelling copy for social media posts.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications, Skills & Abilities

Required:

  • High School diploma, GED or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, required.
  • Capcut, Final Cut Pro, Camtasia, Adobe Premiere or other robust video editing software experience, preferred.
  • Demonstrates exceptional verbal and written communication, including experience responding to comments, including conflict management.
  • Demonstrated experience capturing and creating content for multiple brands with separate creative direction and style.
  • Demonstrated experience executing a content strategy, by generating creative and compelling content.
  • Possess excellent organizational, prioritization, and project management skills.
  • Demonstrates strong attention to detail.
  • Demonstrates excellent content editing skills.
  • Motivated and passionate about learning.
  • Able to communicate and make positive contributions to the marketing team.
  • Able to communicate effectively with a diverse team and audience.
  • Able to adapt to a rapidly changing environment.
  • Able to work weekends or evenings as job demands (i.e., events).

Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Ability to use multiple software platforms and potentially develop personal tools.
  • Interpreting available analytics, preferred.
  • Experience working in a regulated environment, preferred.
  • Knowledge of the cannabis industry is required for this position, but extremely desirable.

Physical Requirements:

The Digital Content Specialist is required to sit or stand at a desk for long periods of time, working on a computer, and must be able to occasionally lift, carry, push and/or pull up to 25 pounds. This position may also require occasional bending, stooping, climbing stairs, etc., as event venues require.

Schedule

Generally, the schedule for this position is Monday through Friday, 8 am – 5 pm. However, days and hours of work may vary, depending on events and other schedule demands.

This position is required to report to an office for the majority of the time; and requires some scheduling flexibility, where evening and weekend work will be required to support off-hour events and activities, as the schedule demands.

Travel

Occasional travel to other locations may be required. The Digital Content Specialist is required to have reliable transportation in order to carry out various tasks, listed above.

All NatureMed team members are required to obtain and retain a Facility Agent license through the Arizona Department of Health and Human Services (AZDHSS), as a condition of their employment.
