Digital Content Specialist (8a-5p) Marketing & PR - Johnson City, TN

Summary:
Consumer and patient expectations are shifting dramatically as it relates to digital engagement and interaction with their healthcare providers. In order to be prepared, remain competitive and challenge the industry in a fast-paced environment it is critical that Ballad Health develops and maintains a well-defined, far-reaching, and forward-looking digital transformation strategy.

The Digital Content Specialist plans and implements organizational and third-party agency digital strategies to develop brand awareness, generate inbound traffic, encourage product adoption and support product usability and accessibility. The individual should have proven experience with digital marketing platforms and strategies. The individual will be accountable for digital campaign coordination, email marketing execution, social property management and presentation of digital platform performance.
Responsibilities Participates in the strategy, execution, analysis and optimization of Ballad Health digital marketing programs and campaigns, coordinating online activities in support of our mission/vision/values and brand voice. Creates and manages digital production schedules and content calendars. Provides prompt, proficient and professional assistance. Writes, manages and publishes content for email, web and social media platforms, ensuring consistency and accuracy. Develops user interface messaging and microcopy. Provides digital performance reporting and insightful analysis clients to drive greater audience engagement. Liaises with digital vendors and contract support. Assists in identifying and cultivating opportunities for business development and new consumer acquisition. Willing to assist with other marketing functions as needed (i.e. event management and representation, meeting notes and follow-up, CRM maintenance, etc.)Maintains knowledge of healthcare industry news and emerging digital media trends

Requirements:

Ability to balance multiple projects and tasks in fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Ability to translate voice-of-customer insights into engaging, effective messaging. Savvy communication skills with internal teams and outside partners. Reliable, professional, assertive, extremely organized with keen attention to detail. Experience planning and creating social media content and use of content management systems. Familiarity with social media management platforms. Experience using digital analytics and reporting tools. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Demonstrated strong written, oral communication and presentation skills. Aptitude for market research, analysis and campaign evaluation with ability to translate quantitative information into creative strategies. Ability to effectively and efficiently plan and prioritize deliverables and resources working across projects, based on scope of work and project goals.2+ years' experience in progressive digital media required; healthcare/hospital marketing exposure strongly preferred. BA/BS/MS degree in marketing or a related field or equivalent work experience. Commitment to ongoing professional growth.
