Digital Design Lab Technician

Overview
We’re hiring a Digital Design Lab Technician to support the day-to-day flow of cases through our digital design department. This role works directly with our digital design department and helps ensure cases are completed accurately and on time.

This is a hands-on, detail-driven role focused on coordination, quality checks, and supporting digital workflows.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys organizing workflows and supporting digital production.

What You’ll Do

• Track and manage cases through the digital design workflow
• Coordinate with in-house and external (contract) designers to meet deadlines
• Review designs for accuracy and flag issues to the Digital Design Lead
• Ensure all case files, scans, and prescriptions are complete before design
• Assist with 3D printing, milling prep, and digital file organization
• Support smooth handoffs between design and production

What We’re Looking For

• 1+ year of dental lab experience (digital workflows preferred)
• Experience with CAD software (Exocad, 3Shape, or similar)
• Strong computer skills and attention to detail
• Knowledge in custom abutments (sending for manufacture and quality control)
• Organized, reliable, and able to manage multiple cases at once
• Comfortable working in a structured, team-driven environment

Nice to Have

• Experience working with outsourced designers
• Exposure to 3D printing or milling
• Understanding of restorative dental workflows
