Digital Design Lead
Location: Hybrid/Remote LA
Glo Skin Beauty is seeking a highly creative, detail-oriented Digital Design Lead to define and deliver high-performing digital creative across every touchpoint. This role will lead the digital design for email, site, paid media, Amazon, and third-party retail, ensuring consistent, elevated, conversion-focused creative that strengthens the brand and enhances the customer experience.
Partnering closely with the E-Commerce, Marketing, Creative, and Development teams, the role will operate at the intersection of brand and performance, translating strategy into design systems, campaign assets, and scalable templates that drive growth across DTC, professional, and marketplace channels.
Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Email + CRM Design
Lead design across all email communications: campaigns, automated flows, loyalty, and transactional
Build and evolve modular email systems that scale across DTC and B2B
Partner with marketing to optimize for performance (testing, iteration, and deliverability best practices)
E-Commerce + On-Site Creative
Lead visual design for key site experiences: homepage, landing pages, PDPs, quizzes, and promotional events
Develop conversion-focused assets including product imagery, infographics, comparison charts, and educational content
Support UX enhancements with wireframes and design solutions for new features and personalization
Amazon + Third-Party Retail
Design and maintain Amazon creative: A+ content, brand stores, infographics, and product imagery, and/or work with agency partners to maintain brand standards and design templates
Adapt core campaign assets for third-party retailers and marketplace partners
Ensure consistency across all external retail environments while optimizing for channel-specific performance
Paid Media + Campaign Creative
Design assets for paid channels (Meta, Google, Pinterest, TikTok), including static and motion formats, and support variations for A/B testing
Support agency partners with digital creative
Partner on campaign development translating briefs into cohesive, cross-channel creative systems
Curate and create graphics for omnichannel digital campaigns
Content Optimization + Asset Management
Maintain and refresh digital assets across site, email, and marketplace channels
Oversee image standards: retouching, cropping, naming, and optimization for performance and load speed
Continuously refine templates, layouts, and systems to improve efficiency and output quality
Work closely with E-Commerce, Marketing, Creative, and Development to align on priorities and timelines
Partner with developers on implementation of design across site features, CRM, and integrations
Support campaign planning with a clear understanding of channel requirements and constraints
Uphold and evolve digital brand standards across all touchpoints
Guide and mentor others, setting clear expectations for quality and execution
Stay informed on design best practices, digital marketing trends, and emerging tools to continuously elevate the brand’s creative output
Experience
- 6–10+ years of professional experience in digital design, preferably in beauty, fashion, or lifestyle industries
- Experience designing for DTC (Direct-to-Consumer) ecommerce brands
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams (ecommerce, marketing, creative, development)
- Experience leading or mentoring others
Education / Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Digital Media, Visual Communication, or related field (preferred)
- UX/UI design certification (optional)
- Motion graphics or animation training (optional)
- Email design or HTML/CSS certification (optional)
Technical Skills
- Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD, After Effects, InDesign)
- Experience with Figma, Sketch, or similar prototyping tools
- Knowledge of HTML/CSS for email and web layouts
- Experience designing for various screen sizes and responsive formats
- Familiarity with UX/UI principles and accessibility standards
- Understanding of asset management, image optimization, and web compression

- Work may occur before/after normal business hours
Compensation & Benefits:
The salary for this role is $70-85K
