Note: This is not a remote position. It requires regular in-office attendance, Monday through Thursday, with the opportunity to work from home on Fridays

Job purpose


The Digital Designer is a vital member of the Marketing & Communications team. This role supports World Challenge’s mission by developing high-quality digital graphics, maintaining web and app content, coordinating email campaigns, and supporting social media initiatives. The ideal candidate is a versatile creator with strong design sensibilities, technical proficiency, and an eye for storytelling through digital media.

    • This is a full-time, exempt, salaried position with benefits.

Salary Range

    • Between $58,000 and $64,000 a year based on qualifications and experience.


  • Sign-on Bonus - $2,000
    • $1,000 paid at the end of 30-days of employment
    • $1,000 paid at the end of 6-months employment

Duties and Responsibilities


  • Create graphics for various mediums
    • Knowledgeable in Adobe’s suite of programs and can create both print and digital assets.
    • Work collaboratively with the Video team to support their graphics needs
    • Create assets for the Social team as needed
    • Create graphics weekly for both email and web content
  • Design and implement landing pages and email templates
    • Create and design landing pages for promotions
    • Update the homepage and other pages in relation to marketing plans
    • Create email templates for marketing purposes
    • Create email templates that deliever World Challenge regularly scheduled content
  • Schedule content to be posted to Website and Mobile app
    • This would include articles, audio and video content, and other World Challenge offerings
    • Update site content as needed
    • Post content to app on a weekly basis
  • Other Duties as Directed by Supervisor

Qualifications

  • Alignment with World Challenge’s Statement of Faith and commitment to a biblical worldview
  • Bachelor’s degree with 3–5 years of experience in marketing, communications, digital media, or a related field
  • Excellent writing and editing skills; strong command of English in both written and verbal communication
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines consistently
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively with team members
  • Proficient in WordPress or similar CMS platforms
  • Experience with Mailchimp or comparable email marketing tools
  • Skilled using Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and other design tools
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics, SEO/SEM, UI/UX best practices, HTML, and CSS is preferred

  • Luminate & Mailchimp Email marketing software
  • Drupal or other CMS platforms

Working conditions

This position works in an office setting with regular business hours Monday – Friday. On occasion, the employee may be required to work evenings or weekends to collaborate with staffs that are deployed internationally. Travel up to 15% of the year may be required.


Physical requirements

This role may require lifting up to 20-30 pounds and is performed in a climate-controlled office environment.
