Digital Designer

Adlai E. Stevenson High School (Lincolnshire, IL) is seeking a Digital Designer for the 2026-2027 school year.

Description:

Stevenson High School District is seeking a creative, detail oriented Digital Designer to help bring our stories, initiatives, and communications to life through engaging visual and digital content. This 10 month position works within the Communications Department to support website management, graphic design, video storytelling, and district wide communications efforts that connect and inform our school community.

The Digital Designer is a 10-month position for a total of 205 compensated days.

Start Date: July 27, 2026

Qualifications:

• BS in Computer Science, Design, Communications, or related field (Required)
• Experience operating and maintaining websites through content management systems (CMS) required
• Knowledge of web analytics and standard website conventions
• Knowledge of HTML and CSS

Skills and Abilities:

• Strong graphic design and visual storytelling skills across digital platforms
• Experience managing and updating website content through content management systems (CMS)
• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and standard web design conventions
• Ability to create engaging graphics, video, and multimedia content for internal and external communications
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail
• Ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders across the Stevenson community
• Ability to maintain confidentiality, exercise professional discretion, and adapt in a fast paced environment

Salary: The successful candidate for this position can expect a starting hourly rate of at least $30.00 per hour, with compensation adjusted based on relevant skills and experience.
