Digital Fundraising Associate - Temporary Position

Everytown for Gun Safety is seeking a talented individual to support and grow the organization's digital grassroots fundraising program as a temporary Digital Fundraising Associate. We’re looking for an experienced and enthusiastic digital fundraiser whose skills will support Everytown's mission to end gun violence in the U.S. This position will be based in our NYC office location and will adhere to a hybrid work schedule (3 days in-office and 2 days remote). The assignment’s end date is anticipated for December 31, 2026.

In this role, you will:

Create and draft fundraising copy, including, but not limited to, emails, landing pages, SMS.

Circulate copy to relevant stakeholders for approval.

Use ActionKit CRM/ESP to produce and publish emails and landing pages.

Participate in regular testing analysis to identify effective tactics, messaging, and formatting of email communications, SMS broadcasts, and landing pages.

Work with the team to develop and implement email list segmentation strategies to maximize email deliverability, fundraising results, and overall engagement.

Proof and assure the quality of national emails, SMS, and landing page content before launch.

Thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment within a growing, diverse team.

You should have:

At least 1 year of relevant digital fundraising, marketing, and/or advocacy experience.

Familiarity with Email Service Providers (ESPs) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools. ActionKit experience is a plus.

A desire to work in a fast-paced, campaign-like environment within a growing, diverse team with unpredictable hours in rapid response moments.

Excellent project management and organizational experience, and the ability to thrive under tight deadlines.

Exceptional copywriting, copyediting, and proofreading skills.

Strong communication skills.

The annualized salary range for this role is $71,000. To maintain equity across this role and within the organization, the salary for this position is non-negotiable.
