Role Description

As Digital Graphic Designer, you will be responsible for creating visually compelling and engaging digital creative assets that support the Digital Marketing and Ecommerce teams. This role reports to the Marketing Director and collaborates closely with the Digital Marketing and Ecommerce teams.

This role is ideal for a skilled, self-directed designer who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and brings proven capabilities in video and motion design. Your role will focus on the hands-on development and execution of digital creative across email, web, and short-form social video — with a strong emphasis on video and motion as a core, non-negotiable competency.

This role requires strong creative thinking, exceptional project management skills, and a passion for delivering innovative designs that align with the brand standards and drive measurable engagement.

What Success Looks Like

30 Days:

  • Fully onboarded to E-Z UP brand guidelines, tools, and campaign workflows
  • Producing campaign-ready static and email assets independently

60 Days:

  • Leading short-form video and motion graphic development for social and web
  • Managing concurrent projects across email, web, and social with minimal oversight

90 Days:

  • Driving measurable improvements in creative quality, consistency, and output velocity
  • Proactively introducing new design ideas, formats, and efficiencies to the team

Essential Responsibilities:

1. Digital Creative Development:

  • Design and produce a high volume of digital marketing assets including landing pages, website banners, emails, social media graphics, video edits, motion graphics, and other digital collateral.
  • Support the ongoing development and execution of weekly and seasonal marketing campaigns.
  • Lead the development of short-form video and motion graphics for use across paid social (IG Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts), website content, and email – this is a primary on non-negotiable responsibility of this role.
  • Ensure all digital creative adheres to E-Z UP brand guidelines and supports Digital Marketing and Ecommerce objectives.

2. Workflow & Project Management:

  • Independently manage a high-volume pipeline of concurrent digital assets across email, web, and social, maintaining quality and meeting campaign deadlines without sacrificing brand standards.
  • Proactively communicate project status, flag blockers early, and collaborate cross-functionally to keep campaigns on track.
  • Work closely with the Digital Marketing Manager and Ecommerce team to support the execution of digital strategies, campaigns, and promotions.

3. Innovation & Continuous Improvement

  • Introduce innovative design ideas, tools, and concepts to continuously improve the quality and effectiveness of digital creative assets.
  • Stay current with emerging design trends, technologies, and best practices in graphic design, video, and motion graphics, and AI-assisted design tools.

4. Brand Expression & Customer Experience:

  • Collaborate with the Ecommerce and web development teams to craft compelling, user-friendly landing pages and website elements that improve customer experience and conversions.
  • Apply UX/UI best practices to optimize website and email creative for both mobile and desktop users.

5. Quality Control & Brand Consistency:

  • Conduct thorough quality checks to ensure digital assets meet brand objectives and maintain consistency across all digital platforms.
  • Maintain up-to-date design templates and style guides to ensure brand consistency across digital marketing initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Art degree and/or qualified certification in Graphic Design, Photo/Video Production, Marketing, or a related field
  • 3-5 years of professional graphic design and/or photo/video production experience with a focus on digital design
  • Demonstrated expertise in video editing and motion graphics is required – portfolio must include short-form social and/or commercial video work
  • Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, CapCut, etc.)
  • Experience and understanding of emerging generative AI tools for image and video creation (Firefly, Nano Banana, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of UX/UI design principles and best practices
  • Familiarity with ecommerce platforms (Adobe Commerce is a plus) and digital marketing channels
  • Proven ability to manage a high volume of concurrent projects and consistently meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a variety of digital design and video/motion graphic projects
  • Team player with a collaborative and creative mindset
  • Familiarity with HTML/CSS and web development is a plus but not required

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)

  • Experience creating social-first video and animation content (Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts)
  • Basic knowledge of front-end web design tools or animation software (e.g., Figma, Webflow, Lottie)

Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
