Previous experience as a Senior BIM Coordinator or BIM automation Specialist (or both) is mandatory for this position. Candidates with a background in BIM automation and coordination across multidisciplinary projects are highly desirable. Experience with international tier 1 AECO firms is valued, with preference for professionals who have worked on or delivered projects for Saudi clients.
Role Purpose:
The Digital Implementation & Automation Specialist drives hands-on delivery of BIM and automation services. This role focuses on BIM coordination, workflow automation, CDE automation, and the development of custom applications using Autodesk Platform Services (APS) and Visual Programming solutions. It also supports the creation of bespoke UI/UX verticals that streamline user experiences across digital delivery platforms. The specialist plays an integral role in the enablement of the Digital PMO by building the underlying data framework and automation pipelines that feed management dashboards and decision-making consoles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement BIM coordination processes and CDE setup in alignment with ISO 19650.
- Develop and maintain automation tools and scripts using Dynamo, Grasshopper, or similar tools.
- Create CDE automations using Autodesk Platform Services (APS), integrating APIs to enhance collaboration workflows.
- Develop bespoke UI/UX verticals to improve usability and data interaction within CDE and BIM platforms.
- Enable data pipelines and integrations to support the Digital PMO reporting infrastructure.
- Support integration of 4D/5D construction management workflows with BIM platforms.
- Execute Digital Twin and Smart Asset Management initiatives.
- Implement automation for data extraction, reporting, and visualization.
- Support training programs and knowledge transfer across teams.
- Collaborate with integration specialists to ensure seamless system interoperability.
Maintain accountability for timely delivery of automation outputs and overall system performance .
Qualifications & Experience:
- Previous experience as a BIM Coordinator / BIM Automation Specialist is mandatory.
- Bachelor’s degree in architecture, Engineering, construction Management or Computer Science.
- 5 to 8 years of hands-on BIM coordination and automation experience.
- Proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, Civil 3D and Dynamo.
- Proven expertise in Common Data Environments (CDEs) and automation workflows.
- Proven experience with Autodesk Platform Services (APS), Forge and custom app or Plugin Development.
- Experience with UI/UX design for digital workflows or CDE environments.
- Experience with custom add-in creation using Revit API or C#.
- Familiarity with LiDAR, photogrammetry, and spatial AI integration workflows.
- Experience with international tier 1 AECO firms and Saudi market project delivery is highly desirable.
- Relevant certifications such as Autodesk Certified Professional, Forge Developer Certification, or BIM Automation Specialist are considered an added value.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Fluent in English (Arabic proficiency is an advantage).
