Responsibilities
We are seeking an experienced WalkMe contractor to join our Learning & Development team and lead the development, implementation, and optimization of digital adoption solutions. This contractor will work closely with our internal L&D team to create seamless user experiences that accelerate software adoption, reduce support tickets, and enhance employee productivity across our digital platforms.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
WalkMe Development & Implementation
- Design and build comprehensive WalkMe solutions including Smart Walk-Thrus, SmartTips, Launchers, and Surveys
- Create interactive guidance flows for new software rollouts, system updates, and process changes
- Develop contextual help content and on-screen guidance to support user adoption
- Build and maintain WalkMe content libraries with reusable templates and best practices
- Configure advanced WalkMe features including segmentation, analytics, and A/B testing
Collaboration & Strategic Planning
- Partner with L&D team to align WalkMe solutions with broader learning and performance support strategies
- Work with IT and business stakeholders to understand system changes and user needs
- Collaborate with Learning Experience Designers to integrate WalkMe guidance with formal training programs
- Support change management initiatives through strategic deployment of digital adoption tools
- Participate in project planning meetings and provide technical expertise on digital adoption solutions
Analytics & Optimization
- Monitor WalkMe analytics to track user engagement, completion rates, and effectiveness
- Generate reports on user adoption patterns and digital guidance performance
- Continuously optimize content based on user feedback and analytics insights
- Conduct A/B testing to improve user experience and engagement
- Provide recommendations for improving digital adoption strategies
Quality Assurance & Maintenance
- Test all WalkMe content across different browsers, devices, and user scenarios
- Maintain and update existing guidance as systems and processes evolve
- Ensure brand consistency and adherence to organizational design standards
- Document best practices and maintain technical specifications
- Provide troubleshooting support for WalkMe-related issues
QualificationsQUALIFICATIONS:Technical Expertise- WalkMe Certification preferred or demonstrated equivalent experience
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with WalkMe platform development and administration
- Advanced proficiency in WalkMe Editor, including complex branching logic and conditional flows
- Experience with WalkMe Analytics and performance measurement tools
- Understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) for advanced customizations
- Familiarity with browser developer tools for troubleshooting and testing
Professional Experience
- Experience in corporate digital adoption or change management projects
- Background in user experience (UX) design or instructional design preferred
- Project management experience with ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
- Experience working with enterprise software (CRM, ERP, HRIS, LMS platforms)
- Previous contractor/consultant experience with ability to work independently

Preferred Qualifications
- Multiple DAP platform experience (Whatfix, Pendo, Userlane, etc.)
- Instructional design background or formal training in adult learning principles
- Experience with learning management systems and e-learning authoring tools
- Background in change management or organizational development
- Industry certifications in project management (PMP, Agile) or user experience design
Project Examples & Deliverables
- Comprehensive WalkMe guidance for new application rollout
- Interactive tutorials for software feature adoption
- Contextual help systems for complex business processes
- User onboarding flows for new employee orientation
- Performance support tools for day-to-day task completion
