The Role

We are looking for a hybrid strategist and organizer. The Account Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring client satisfaction and driving results, acting as both a Client Success Manager and Internal Project Manager.

You will manage a book of business of 10–15 clients, primarily engaged with our agency for PPC advertising and SEO services, as well as occasional social media marketing and website development projects.

The ideal candidate combines strategic thinking, a client-first mindset, and exceptional organizational skills. This position offers the opportunity to grow within the agency, with the potential to help lead the account management team based on performance.

Key Responsibilities

1. Client Success Management

  • Be the Trusted Advisor: Build and maintain strong relationships with a portfolio of 10–15 clients, serving as their primary point of contact.
  • Drive Strategy: Collaborate with clients to establish clear objectives, KPIs, and strategies tailored to their needs (focusing on PPC, SEO, Web Design, Email Marketing, Video Production, and Social).
  • Proactive Optimization: Monitor account health daily, ensuring consistent delivery of value and addressing challenges before they escalate.
  • Communication: Conduct regular client meetings to present performance updates, strategic recommendations, and actionable insights.
  • Growth: Identify opportunities to grow client accounts by recommending additional services that align with their business goals.

2. Internal Project Management

  • Orchestrate Execution: Coordinate the execution of PPC, SEO, and creative projects across cross-functional teams.
  • Scope & Schedule: Develop detailed project scopes, timelines, and milestones, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Central Hub: Act as the bridge between clients and internal creative/technical teams to ensure alignment and accountability.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously refine internal processes to enhance efficiency and quality across all client engagements.

3. Strategic Insights & Reporting

  • Data Analysis: Analyze campaign performance data to uncover trends, identify optimization opportunities, and guide strategic actions.
  • Reporting: Deliver clear, honest, and actionable performance reports to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Knowledge Sharing: Share insights and best practices across teams to drive overall agency growth.

Qualifications & Requirements

The Essentials:

  • Experience: 1+ years of experience in a digital marketing agency environment.
  • Domain Knowledge: A robust understanding of PPC (Google Ads) and SEO is required.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
  • Tech Stack: Proficiency in Google Ads, Google Analytics (GA4), and CRM software. Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Asana, Zoho Projects, Trello, Monday.com).

Compensation & Benefits

We value our team and provide a compensation package that rewards performance and ownership.

  • Total Compensation (OTE): $70,000 – $80,000 per year.
  • Base Salary: $50,000 fixed annual base.
  • Commission: 2.75% of managed revenue per month.
  • With an average customer retainer of $6,000, managing a full portfolio puts you firmly in the target earnings range.
