Position Overview:
We are looking for an Account Manager / Account Strategist who loves marketing, enjoys building client relationships, and can lead strategy confidently. This position is for someone who can serve as the main point of contact for clients, lead marketing strategy, and ensure internal teams are executing effectively. You will manage communication, oversee performance, and work with specialists (Paid, SEO, Social, Design, Email) to ensure campaigns are moving forward and delivering results. This is not a “friendly check-in” role, this person must drive outcomes.
Core Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary client contact for a portfolio of accounts
- Lead monthly and quarterly marketing strategy planning
- Run client meetings confidently (agenda-driven and strategic)
- Coordinate internal team members and ensure tasks are executed on time
- Review performance metrics and ensure marketing efforts align with goals
- Identify when campaigns are underperforming and proactively recommend pivots
- Ensure reporting is delivered clearly and on time
- Build strong client relationships based on trust and results
- Translate client goals into clear internal direction and action plans
- Keep projects organized using internal tools and processes
- Help improve internal systems, SOPs, and workflows as the agency grows

Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in an account management, marketing strategy, or client success role
- Strong understanding of digital marketing fundamentals: Paid ads, SEO, Social media, Email marketing
- Excellent client communication skills (written and verbal)
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Strong ability to manage multiple deadlines and client priorities
- Comfortable holding internal team members accountable
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
Preferred Experience:
- Experience working at a digital marketing agency
- Experience leading monthly reporting calls
- Experience using Teamwork and Agency Analytics
- Ability to interpret performance dashboards and explain results clearly
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
