The Digital Marketing Account Manager & Strategist is a client-facing, highly collaborative role responsible for managing a portfolio of school accounts and ensuring campaigns are planned, executed, optimized, and reported on effectively. You’ll serve as a trusted advisor to 20-30 partners/clients, keep projects moving smoothly internally, and play a key role in presenting strategy, results, and recommendations with confidence.

This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced agency environment, is highly organized, enjoys building relationships, and can balance strategic thinking with hands-on coordination and quality control.

Key ResponsibilitiesClient Relationship & Presentation Leadership

  • Represent EMG as a knowledgeable, responsive, and strategic digital marketing partner in the education space
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for a group of EMG clients, alongside the account team
  • Lead and participate in virtual and occasional in-person client meetings
  • Create and confidently deliver presentations to school stakeholders (strategy, campaign plans, monthly reporting, performance insights)
  • Develop meeting agendas and materials, define meeting objectives, document next steps, and ensure follow-through

Account & Campaign Management

  • Support onboarding of new accounts, including kickoff documentation and media plans

Coordinate delivery of digital marketing and advertising assets across internal team members and timelines

  • Assist with setup and launch of campaigns across platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn)
  • Conduct quality assurance checks for campaigns (strategy alignment, creative, landing pages, targeting, UX, tracking) to ensure they meet client objectives
  • Write, edit, and proof ad copy and landing page copy as needed
  • Communicate wins, risks, and challenges promptly and professionally—internally and with clients
  • Identify opportunities to bring additional value to clients through new ideas, testing, and expanded services

Reporting & Analytics

  • Develop and present monthly performance reports with clear insights and recommendations
  • Generate and review reporting dashboards (e.g., Google Analytics and Looker Studio) with clients
  • Track client initiatives, seasonal enrollment cycles, and relevant K–12 marketing trends to inform strategy

Team & Company Support

  • Collaborate closely with EMG’s internal team to keep work accurate, timely, and goal-aligned
  • Support marketing and business development activities as needed (presentations, conferences, trade shows)
  • Other duties as assigned by leadership

Ideal Candidate ProfileExperience

  • 5+ years of experience in a professional, client-facing role
  • 2+ years of experience in project management or advertising/campaign management in an agency setting, or equivalent experience in school admissions or marketing

Skills & Attributes

  • Self-motivated, proactive team player who can manage multiple priorities while delivering excellent client service.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Comfortable presenting to clients and leading meetings (virtual and in-person)
  • Familiarity with landing page/CMS tools (HubSpot, WordPress, Unbounce, or similar)
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics, Google Ads, and Google Tag Manager
  • Experience with professional social platforms (Meta, LinkedIn, etc.)
  • Working knowledge of SEO, paid search, and paid social best practices
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently in a fast-moving environment
  • Ability to travel to the Worcester office, client locations, and conferences occasionally (typically less than 5 times per year)

Compensation & Benefits

This is a full-time role with a salary commensurate with experience. EMG supports remote, hybrid, or in-office work from our Worcester, MA office.

Pay: From $70,000.00 per year
