Overview
We are seeking a Digital Marketing Strategy Manager to lead our marketing team and oversee client campaign strategy. This role combines hands-on marketing expertise with team leadership and operational oversight. The ideal candidate will guide marketing specialists, improve processes, and ensure strong performance across multiple marketing channels while helping the team deliver high-quality results for clients.
Key Responsibilities
1. Campaign Strategy & Technical Leadership
Act as the senior marketing resource for campaign planning and execution.
- Managing advanced digital marketing campaigns across channels including: Google Ads (Search, Display, Shopping), Paid Social (Meta, LinkedIn, YouTube), Email marketing and marketing automation, SEO and content initiatives
- Ensuring accurate tracking using GA4, Google Tag Manager, and conversion tracking tools
- Reviewing campaign performance data and identifying optimization opportunities
- Creating and maintaining reporting dashboards using Looker Studio
- Providing quality assurance and technical guidance across marketing deliverables
2. Team Leadership & Mentorship
Provide guidance and direction for the marketing team.
- Leading and mentoring digital marketing specialists and project managers
- Conducting regular 1-on-1 meetings and performance conversations
- Supporting hiring, onboarding, and team training
- Helping develop internal documentation, playbooks, and training resources
3. Marketing Operations & Workflow Oversight
Help maintain efficient team operations and project delivery.
- Managing marketing team workflows and project coordination
- Improving processes to support efficiency and scalability
- Monitoring team capacity and resource allocation
- Ensuring accurate time tracking and project profitability
- Supporting proposal development and project scoping
4. Client Strategy Support
Serve as a senior marketing advisor on select client accounts.
- Participating in client strategy meetings when needed
- Providing high-level campaign recommendations
- Helping resolve performance issues or client concerns
- Supporting account teams with complex campaign planning
5. Department Development
Contribute to the ongoing growth and improvement of the marketing department.
- Helping refine internal systems and reporting frameworks
- Identifying opportunities to improve team performance and efficiency
- Supporting department planning and staffing decisions
Requirements & Experience
Compensation will be based on experience and qualifications.
- 5+ years of digital marketing experience (agency experience preferred)
- 3+ years of PPC campaign management, with strong Google Ads experience required
- Experience managing campaigns across multiple channels, including paid media, email marketing, SEO, and analytics
- Strong understanding of marketing performance metrics, reporting tools, and conversion optimization (CRO)
- Experience leading, mentoring, or guiding team members
- Familiarity with marketing automation platforms such as Mailchimp, ActiveCampaign, or HubSpot
- Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS and landing page optimization

Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
