Position Summary:
The Digital Marketing & Analytics Specialist will play a crucial role in expanding our online reach and providing actionable insights for marketing strategies. This individual will be responsible for executing and optimizing our SEO and AEO efforts, managing social media presence, and providing essential research and analytical support directly to the Marketing Director. This role is ideal for someone with a strong analytical mindset and a passion for digital marketing, eager to contribute to a growing team that embodies our core values.
Key Responsibilities:
- Search Engine Optimization (SEO) & Answer Engine Optimization (AEO):
- Conduct in-depth keyword research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for organic growth.
- Implement on-page, off-page, and technical SEO best practices to improve search engine rankings and visibility.
- Monitor and analyze SEO performance using tools like Google Analytics (GA4) and Google Search Console.
- Optimize content for AEO and LMO, ensuring our solutions are discoverable and accurately represented in conversational search and optimized for different language models.
- Collaborate with the Content Marketing Manager to ensure content is highly optimized for search engines.
- Social Media Marketing:
- Assist in developing and executing the social media strategy, complementing existing efforts by the Digital Marketing Specialist.
- Manage and schedule routine social media posts, engagement, and community management.
- Monitor social media trends and identify opportunities for increased engagement and brand visibility.
- Analyze social media performance metrics and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Research & Analytics Support for the Marketing Director:
- Conduct market research to identify new opportunities, trends, and competitive insights in the K-12 technology space.
- Gather, organize, and analyze marketing performance data from various sources (e.g., website, email campaigns, social media, events).
- Assist the Marketing Director in creating comprehensive reports and dashboards to prove ROI and inform strategic decisions.
- Identify areas for efficiency improvement based on data analysis.
- Support the Director in analyzing target market information to recommend effective marketing approaches.
- General Digital Marketing Support:
- Provide support for digital advertising campaigns as needed, focusing on data collection and performance monitoring.
- Assist with website content updates and optimization, ensuring SEO principles are applied.
- Support lead nurturing efforts through data segmentation and reporting within marketing automation platforms.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Analytics, or a related field.
- Proven experience (or strong internship experience for recent grads) in SEO, AEO, social media marketing, and digital analytics.
- Proficiency with SEO tools (e.g., Google Search Console, SEMrush, etc.) and web analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics GA4).
- Basic graphic design skills is a plus (esp. Canva)
- Experience with Salesforce is a plus.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and best practices.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (or Google Sheets) for data manipulation and reporting.
- Strong research skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a small team environment, embodying our "team players" value.
