A Digital Marketing Assistant supports the marketing team in creating, managing, and optimising online marketing campaigns across social media, websites, email, and digital ads. It is usually an entry to mid-level marketing role focused on execution and support.
Key Responsibilities:
Social Media Management
Create and schedule posts on platforms like Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn
Respond to comments and messages
Monitor engagement and audience growth
Digital Campaign Support
Assist in running online ads (Meta Ads, Google Ads)
Help track campaign performance and analytics
Support SEO and website updates
Content Creation
Write captions, basic copy, and email newsletters
Assist in creating visuals with tools like Canva
Support content planning calendars
Reporting & Analytics
Track KPIs (clicks, reach, conversions)
Prepare simple performance reports
Help analyse campaign results
Team Support
Work with designers, marketers, and sales teams
Assist in promotions, launches, and branding campaigns
Skills & Requirements:
Basic knowledge of social media platforms and trends
Strong written communication (English required)
Familiarity with tools like Canva, Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics (plus)
Creativity and attention to detail
Marketing or business degree preferred (not always required)
